Entity

From Veritas

Most generally speaking, an entity can be any separate and distinct abstract object, such as an organization, government, or biological object. Metaphysically speaking, the term entity is usually used to refer to a non-physical being with a conceptual existence. Usually something called an entity is considered animate, or even sentient.

Examples of metaphysical entities include ghosts, deities, elementals, etc.
