Christianity

From Veritas

One of the major Abrahamic religions which follows the tenets of the man Jesus, called the Christ, as outlined in the various New Testament books of the Bible and/or apocrypha and pseudepigrapha. There are many denominations of Christianity, each with its own biases and doctrines focusing on certain aspects of Jesus' teachings, as well as a non-denominational sect which claims to attempt to adhere as closely as possible to the original teachings of Jesus and Jesus' apostles.

There are also a number of organizations which claim to be Christian but seemingly develop their own teachings and follow those instead of what Jesus truly taught; Catholics (via the Popes, and groups which decide which doctrines to believe in), Jehovah's Witnesses (claim that Jesus came again with new teachings for mankind to follow), Mormons (use both the Bible and the Book of Mormon which was supposedly discovered through divine guidance by Mormon founder Joseph Smith Jr buried in a hill near his home), and others.
